Spirit marks are additional images associated with UNT and may be used in publications as design elements, but not in place of the lettermark and wordmark.
These spirit marks were generated specifically for promotional uses such as on casual clothing, coffee cups, water bottles, plastic mugs and cups. They also may be used on informal and disposable items such as napkins, coasters, cups and notepads.
Basic guidelines when using all UNT spirit marks:
- Spirit marks may be screened back no lower than 10 percent in UNT green or black.
- The UNT lettermark or wordmark must appear with each of the spirit marks.
- All uses must be approved by brandreview@unt.edu
New Scrappy artwork
In fall 2013, UNT introduced new artwork featuring Scrappy. This artwork is appropriate for any spirit related communications and will follow the same standards as above. There is a standard Scrappy and a youth version to be used only for communications or items aimed at youth. These marks may be used on promotional items.
